     S.D. Ireland's strengths lie in their workforce and management personnel. Ireland's have built a strong team of professionals who have remained in the company for many years. Our team of managers, foremen, engineers, formworkers, carpenters, equipment operators, drivers and mechanics are dedicated to the company and proven in the field to provide customers quality workmanship on schedule. While most of the employees have been with the company for years, many 10 years or more, Scott continues to add to the team as the company grows and expands.
     The company began by making ready mix concrete for their own use in residential buildings and by selling ready mix to other contractors. In 1982, the company decided to expand into the commercial formwork market as well.
     Design of contemporary concrete structures requires comprehensive knowledge of excavation, soil type, forming, and scheduling, understanding the complexities of mix designs and strengths as well as an ability to integrate well with the General Contractor and other subcontractors on the job. S.D. Ireland's success has been their ability to grow and flex with the construction trends and economy of the Northeast.
